Visakhapatnam: The Srijan Association of Hindi Literature hosted a book release ceremony at the Institute of Engineers in Visakhapatnam on Sunday. The event marked the launch of Iktaaraa Bole, a collection of satirical writings by renowned Hindi litterateur Dr. T. Mahadev Rao. The book was unveiled by the president of Srijan, Nirav Kumar Verma, a well-known Hindi writer. Bhagavatula Satyanarayana Murty, a noted Telugu and Hindi author, conducted the event.
In her review of the book, Seema Verma, a senior member of Srijan and prominent Hindi author, praised Dr. Rao’s satirical works. She noted that the 70 pieces of satire in Iktaaraa Bole are not only thought-provoking but also serve as a mirror to our society’s flaws, urging readers to reflect and improve. The writings cover various aspects of life, including politics, social issues, and human nature, all presented in Dr. Rao’s sharp, sarcastic style.
Bhagavatula Murty extended provided an overview of Srijan’s mission. He said that the association’s efforts to promote quality Hindi literature have grown consistently, supporting and encouraging Hindi writers over the last 22 years.

The event also featured a Sahitya Charcha (Literary Discussion), where poets and writers such as Rajneesh Tiwari, M. V. R. Rao, Abhishek Kumar, Dr. K. Anita, Dr. Madhubala Kushwaha, and S. V. R. Naidu recited their poems, enriching the program with their literary contributions.
