A lorry carrying gas cylinders overturned in Warangal, causing minor injuries to the driver and damaging power poles.
WARANGAL: A lorry loaded with HP gas cylinders overturned in Warangal district’s Khanapuram Mandal on its way from Warangal to Bayyaram in Mahabubabad district.
The accident occurred when the lorry lost control and collided with electric poles in the Khanapuram Mandal centre, causing the vehicle to overturn. Two power poles were broken in the incident.
The driver sustained minor injuries and was immediately transported to the hospital for treatment. Upon receiving information about the accident, the police arrived at the scene and took measures to ensure that traffic was not disrupted.
The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
