Hyderabad: Bajaj Auto Ltd., the two-wheeler and three-wheeler company, has partnered with India’s dairy brand Amul on November 15, 2024, to flag off the Amul Clean Fuel Rally, aiming to promote clean fuel technology, sustainability, and self-sufficiency. The rally is a multicity journey powered by Bajaj Auto’s Bajaj Freedom 125, a CNG-powered commuter motorcycle.
The rally, which commenced from the Bajaj Auto Campus in Akurdi, will travel through key cities in Maharashtra and Gujarat before reaching its final destination in New Delhi.
The rally will make stops at various Amul facilities and dairy cooperatives to promote accessible clean fuel technology for daily commuters and to revolutionise rural transportation.
Jayen Mehta, managing director of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF — Amul), claimed, “We are delighted to partner with Bajaj Auto for this year’s Amul Clean Fuel Rally. This collaboration brings together two pioneering Indian brands committed to sustainability and rural empowerment.”
“Bajaj Auto and Amul, both have deep roots in India, and have been a part of the country’s growth and evolution for over 75 years. Today half of our domestic business is powered by cleaner energy like CNG and electricity. With innovations like the world’s first CNG motorcycle we remain committed to reducing our environmental footprint,” commented
Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director, Bajaj Auto Ltd.
Bajaj Auto and Amul are hopeful that the rally will help to create a self-sustaining ecosystem that benefits both dairy farmers and the environment.
