First launched in May 2019, the Hyundai Venue has successfully completed five years in India. Now, it’s time for a generation change, which is set to take place towards the end of 2025. The compact SUV’s all-new model has entered its testing phase, and we saw its first spy images last month from South Korea. Codenamed QU2i, the 2025 Hyundai Venue is likely to feature completely revised styling inspired by the new Creta and Alcazar SUVs.
The spy images reveal a split headlamp setup that closely resembles the unit offered on the Creta. The new Venue will also have a redesigned front grille with a wider, more rectangular design. The front bumper appears taller than before. At the rear, horizontally positioned taillamps connected by a light bar and an upright tailgate lend a refreshing look to its profile.
Higher variants will come equipped with the ADAS suite, as the spied test mule was spotted with a module and parking sensors. The Level 1 ADAS technology is likely to be upgraded to a Level 2 suite. The current setup includes features like forward collision warning, forward collision avoidance assist, lane keeping and following assist, lane departure warning, leading vehicle departure alert, driver attention warning, and high beam assist. The new Hyundai Venue will also feature a redesigned dashboard. Updates to the seat upholstery, switchgear, and steering wheel are expected, while the screen setup might get larger. Hyundai is likely to enhance its material quality for a more premium feel. The new Venue might also come with a panoramic sunroof.
The engine-gearbox combinations will be carried forward from the current generation. The 2025 Hyundai Venue will continue to offer the same 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol, 1.0L turbo petrol, and 1.5L diesel engine options.
