Hyderabad: Two days after college authorities suspended four senior MBBS students for allegedly ragging first year MBBS students, a police complaint was lodged at the Nalgonda police station by the college authorities. The college’s anti-ragging committee had found that the four students, who were allegedly drunk, harassed juniors. Disciplinary actions included suspensions ranging from one to six months.
Nalgonda DSP K Shivaram Reddy said, “An FIR has been lodged based on the complaint of college authorities. The accused will be dealt with strictly under the anti-ragging laws. Students should be careful not to indulge in such things.”tnn
