Hyderabad: Digital-first life sciences commercialisation player Indegene has set up its new global delivery centre (GDC) in Hyderabad as part of efforts to beef up its global delivery operations and better address growing business needs of global pharma companies that are increasingly setting up their global capability centres in India.
The company stated that as the pharma industry faces increasing pressure to innovate and adapt, the new GDC will play a pivotal role in helping these companies accelerate their transformation.
Indegene Chairman & CEO Manish Gupta said the new GDC will help the company strengthen its capabilities to assist life sciences companies in modernising and transforming their commercial, medical, and clinical operations with its fit-for-purpose technology.
The company already has around 300 employees in Telangana, who were previously working remotely, and is looking to hire new talent as well.
Tarun Mathur, CTO of Indegene, said the company is hiring across life sciences, technology, regulatory, and creative roles and is open to recruiting talent with expertise in operations, regulatory writing, and medical backgrounds, including former physicians.
