Hyderabad: Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Tuesday brushed aside the Opposition’s allegations that “vaastu changes” are being made at the secretariat. He said certain development works had been taken up in for unveiling of Telangana Thalli statue.
The BRS alleged that the Congress govt is spending several crores on renovating the secretariat and is also making vaastu changes. “It’s not about vaastu at all. We are going to unveil Telangana Thalli’s statue on the occasion of Sonia Gandhi’s birthday on Dec 9 at the secretariat. Some changes to roads and the main gate have been made for convenience of the people. The statue, reflecting the common woman of Telangana, will be unveiled at a programme to be attended by one lakh people,” he said. tnn
