The path you have chosen demands sacrifice and dedication, as the public holds high expectations of you,” he reminded them.

Warangal: Commissioner asks constables to work with “Citizens first” motto


Warangal: After completing their basic training, 246 Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constables (SCTPC – Civil – Men) passed out from the City Police Training Centre in Madikonda on Thursday.

Warangal Police Commissioner Amber Kishor Jha, who was the chief guest of the event, took the salute at the ceremonial parade of the recruits on completion of their training. Speaking on the occasion Jha called upon the newly-recruited police constables to uphold the motto of the State police, “Citizens first”, and embrace people-friendly policing initiatives for professional excellence.


The police commissioner exhorted new recruits to uphold principles of justice. He asked them to treat citizens with empathy and compassion, as the police were the face of law and order in society. “Joining the police force is not just a profession, but a call to serve people with honesty, courage and compassion. The path chosen by you requires sacrifice and dedication as people have high expectations from you,” he reminded.

The main duty of the police was to maintain peace and security, and they should behave in a friendly manner without disturbing the rights and self-respect of the people, he said, adding that every day they would face challenges which would test their character. “Your good work and courageous decisions will strengthen the trust of the public in the Telangana police,”he said.

The commissioner presented memontoes to Nagaraju, Ravi and Sashidhar Goud for performing well during the training period. Additional DCPs Ravi, Srinivas, Vice-Principal Ramanababu, ACPs Tirumala, Surendra, Anantaiah and other senior police officers were present.
