Hyderabad:The National Design Centre, with the support of the development commissioner (handlooms) of the Union ministry of textiles. will organise the Hyderabad Sari Festival at Kamma Sangham, Ameerpet, from November 24 to 30. The expo will feature over 75 handloom weavers, self-help groups and co-operative societies from across India, according to a statement.
This special marketing expo, dedicated to traditional Indian handloom saris, will provide a platform for artists. The event is designed to boost the sale of traditional Indian handloom saris and will also offers a chance a chance to directly connect with exporters, buyers, and designers.
The festival brings together over 100 handloom artisans from across the country, 50 unique weaves under one roof, a statement said. The expo will be open from 10 am to 8pm daily.
