Visakhapatnam: The Anakapalle district police arresting three property offenders belonging to two separate gangs and recovered over 21.3 lakh worth stolen property including 188 gram of gold ornaments, bikes, and others from them.
According to Anakapalle district police chief Tuhin Sinha, the Elamanchili rural police solved four property cases and arrested two offenders.
The police recovered 11.3 lakh worth stolen booty from the duo. The accused persons belonged to KD Peta locality in Anakapalle district and were involved in more than eight offences in various parts of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana.
In another incident, the Atchutapuram police nabbed a repeat offender who has been involved in over 19 offences. The police managed to recover around 143 gms of gold jewellery from him.
Investigation is underway to nab one more accused in the case, police said.
