More Power Than Curvv EV, e Vitara

Compared to the Tata Curvv EV, which comes with 45kWh (147 bhp/215 Nm) and 55kWh (165 bhp/215 Nm) front-axle-mounted electric motors, the upcoming Mahindra electric SUVs will be significantly more powerful. Additionally, they will also outperform the forthcoming Maruti e-Vitara, which is expected to feature 49kWh (142 bhp with 2WD) and 61kWh (171 bhp with 2WD and 181 bhp with AWD) battery options.

Battery Charging Time

Mahindra’s new born-electric SUVs will be equipped with rear-axle-mounted motors only. However, speculations suggest that the Mahindra BE 6e might feature an AWD system with a dual-motor setup, promising even higher power and torque outputs. The battery packs will support fast charging of up to 175kW DC, enabling them to charge from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes. Both the XEV 9e and BE 9e will come with a semi-active suspension system and brake-by-wire technology. They will also offer multiple drive modes.
