Hyderabad: The BRIC-Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD) on Friday held an event for students, where they learned about the basics of DNA, genetic codes, and fundamental genetics.
This was a part of CDFD’s “Gyandeep” outreach initiative. Students from Kendriya Vidyalaya branches in city were given a hands-on demonstration wherein they isolated DNA from bananas.
The event was organized in collaboration with GENETIKS4U and funded by India Biosciences and the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Hyderabad.tnn
