Mahindra has released design sketches of its upcoming electric SUVs, the XEV 9e and BE 6e. Both ‘Born Electric’ models will be officially revealed on November 26. Mahindra’s latest electric SUVs are based on the INGLO platform. Both models feature a striking exterior design and futuristic cabin. The XEV 9e has a trapezoidal front fascia with L-shaped LED DRLs connected by an LED light bar. It has a strong shoulder line with flared wheel arches. The BE 6e boasts a more athletic look with a coupe-like roof line and chunky wheel arches. It has a slimmer front fascia compared to the XEV 9e with U-shaped LED DRLs. Inside, it gets an expansive screen, housing the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. The XEV 9e and BE 6e will use a rear-mounted electric motor producing between 228 BHP and 282 BHP. There will be two batteries on offer: 59 kWh and 79 kWh, each with fast-charging capability. The BE 6e will also be available in a dual-motor AWD configuration.
