HYDERABAD: An unidentified man, with his head decapitated, was found in a septic tank of the govt model school campus at Shankarpally on Friday.
A few students of the school, who went close to the septic tank to fetch their ball while playing, were shocked to see the body and immediately informed their school’s principal.
K Srinivas Goud, Shankarpally SHO, said that they were still gathering details about the deceased, his dentity as well as the cause of his death. The body was decomposed, police said.
A suspicious death case was registered, and the body was shifted for a post-mortem examination. Only after the PME report is filed, the exact cause of death will be known, the SHO said, adding that they circulated the pictures to all neighbouring police stations to identify the deceased.
