Hyderabad: Kashi, the spiritual heart of India, came alive under the ethereal glow of Dev Diwali as a group of 50 spirited travellers embarked on a meticulously curated journey by Travel Buddyz led by Neha Rajgarhia and Radhika Jalan, a press release said.
The trip from Hyderabad was not just a celebration of the celestial festival but also a tribute to the city’s rich cultural, spiritual, and artistic heritage, it said.
The highlight of the trip was the Dev Diwali celebration. As millions of lamps illuminated the Ganga ghats, the group witnessed the divine Ganga aarti aboard a secure boat, surrounded by the sounds of devotional chants and the shimmer of festive lights, it said
The journey also celebrated the vibrant weavers’ market, where the group explored Banarasi textiles, fostering appreciation for local craftsmanship. The trip delved deeper into Kashi’s cultural legacy with visits to Banaras Hindu University. The group participated in special temple darshans and pujas, providing moments of profound peace and connection, it added.
