Hyderabad: A third-year engineering student died by suicide in his rented room in LB Nagar here on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Gaddam Anjaneyulu, 20, a native of Nagarkurnool district. He was studying in a college in Mallepally and lived in a rented room with his elder brother Ramesh, police said.
According to the police, Ramesh went home for some work ten days ago and returned to Hyderabad on Sunday.When he reached the room, he found his brother dead.
The police have registered a case based on Ramesh’s complaint. “The reason for the suicide is not known. His family has also not expressed any suspicion over the death,” said K Vinod Kumar, station house officer, LB Nagar.
