Varun Tej’s latest outing, Matka ended its overseas run on a disastrous note. The period drama film which was mounted on a huge scale, collected a mere $70.5K from overseas in its full run and became a huge loss venture for the distributors. The film did not even able to recover the print and publicity cost. An embarrassing failure for Varun Tej and the team at the box office.
