Hyderabad: Poultry India 2024, a trade exhibition for industry players to showcase their innovations, discuss the latest trends, and exchange knowledge, is taking place in the city till November 28, 2024. During the three-day event, poultry breeders, equipment manufacturers, and industry professionals from across India and 40 other countries will be leveraging business development and networking opportunities.
Delivering the inaugural address, Sabyasachi Ghosh, Special Chief Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries (AHDD&F) department, Government of Telangana highlighted the role poultry sector plays in the Indian economy by contributing one per cent to the nation’s GDP.
He further emphasised the growing importance of Telangana in the poultry industry, positioning the State as a key player in shaping the future of poultry farming and related industries in India.
The Special Chief Secretary also stressed the need for the sector to embrace best practices and adapt to emerging technological advancements. He encouraged industry stakeholders to leverage cutting-edge AI technologies to improve productivity, streamline cost management, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
