Best Black Friday streaming service deals
Hulu is offering some pretty incredible Black Friday savings to both new and returning subscribers. Its basic ad-based plan is typically $10 per month, but that drops to just $1 per month for 12 months when you sign up before Dec. 2. This offer is available to new customers and those who haven’t had a Hulu subscription in the past 30 days. Also note that you’ll have to sign up through Hulu directly to get the deal, rather than as an add-on service through a third party like Roku or Amazon
Have FOMO about Dune: Prophecy or The Penguin? Watch these titles and more on Max when you sign up for the service for $3 per month for six months. From now until Dec. 2, new or returning subscribers in the US can snag the Black Friday deal for the ad-supported plan, which normally costs $10 per month.
Watch live sports, holiday classics like Elf and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, and then get ready for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and Creature Commandos when they land in December.
Peacock is offering huge Black Friday savings for its ad-based Peacock Premium subscription, granting access for $20 for an annual subscription or $2 a month for six months if you’d prefer the monthly version. That saves you 75%, no matter which one you sign up for. The offer is for new customers and expires Dec. 2.
Use the promo code REALDEAL for a discount on the annual plan and REALDEALMONTHLY to save on the monthly subscription. Ad-based Peacock Premium typically costs $8 per month or $80 per year.
Paramount Plus has launched its Black Friday deal, and it will be available through Dec. 4. New and returning customers can pay just $3 per month for the first two months on a monthly subscription. Choose from the ad-based Essential plan or ad-free Paramount Plus with Showtime and stream NFL football, Landman, Lioness and upcoming releases like Dexter: Original Sin.
When the two-month discount expires, you will be billed at Paramount Plus’ regular monthly rates of $8 for Essential and $13 for Paramount Plus with Showtime.
Sling TV is one of our favorite live TV streaming services of 2024, and right now you can try it out for half off. Sling offers two subscriptions, which typically cost $40 a month. Orange, which is focused on sports and family channels, and Blue, which is more news and entertainment-oriented. And when you sign up right now, you can get either plan for just $20 for your first month. Or bundle both for just $28.
Cord-cutters who have been holding out on YouTube TV’s NFL Sunday Ticket can score a one-year subscription for just $89 right now, which is a whopping $175 off the usual price. You can also save even more when you bundle the add-on with a YouTube TV base plan — which typically costs $73 per month, but drops down to $50 for your first two months with this holiday bundle deal. Just note that if you cancel YouTube TV you will lose access to NFL Sunday ticket.

Did you know you can subscribe to streaming services like Apple TV Plus, Paramount Plus and Max via Prime Video? These add-on subscriptions typically cost the same as they would outside of Prime Video, but you can save on some of them right now ahead of Black Friday.
Prime Video customers can sign up for the following add-ons and get a two-month discount: Paramount Plus, MGM Plus, AMC Plus, Discovery Plus, Crunchyroll, Starz, Hallmark Plus, Cinemax, ViX Premium, BritBox, PBS Masterpiece, Acorn TV and more. After the months are up, you’ll pay the standard price for the service unless you cancel. The amount you pay for the two months varies — for MGM Plus, it’s $1.75 per month; for Paramount Plus, it’s $3 — so head to Prime Video’s site if you’re curious.
Live TV streaming service Fubo offers three main packages, with a base plan that provides more than 200 channels. Sports fans can find a variety of RSNs to watch games from their favorite teams, and the service includes cloud DVR.
Right now, you can sign up to get $30 off your first month on these subscriptions: Pro, Elite with Sports Plus or Deluxe. Fubo’s Spanish-language Latino plan has also been discounted from $33 a month to $15 for the first month.
Fans of boxing can scoop up unmatched access to boxing content for a lot less right now. Sign up for an annual plan before Nov. 29 and you’ll get your first month for free, which saves you $20. After that, it reverts to the usual $20 per month cost for 11 months.
MagellanTV has a huge collection featuring more than 3,000 curated documentaries ready for your next movie marathon. While an annual subscription usually costs $60, you can grab a two-year subscription for $60 right now, essentially you netting you a 50% discount or offering a whopping three-year subscription for just $72, which means you’ll be essentially paying just $24 per year. Do Black Friday streaming service deals actually save you money?
Generally, yes. Many streaming services are offering some really great Black Friday deals at the moment, including some offers that can save you up to 90% on monthly plans. However, the caveat is that many of these deals are exclusive to new subscribers, while others may only last for a few months, rather than the entire year. If you know you want to sign up for a streaming service soon, it may be best to skip free trial offers and instead sign up as a new subscriber while the deals are in full swing.
Which streaming services usually offer the best Black Friday deals?
That’s hard to say, as it depends on your preferences. However, it’s worth noting that Netflix hasn’t participated in Black Friday price cuts previously, while Peacock, Disney, Hulu, Starz, Fubo and more regularly offer holiday savings.
