Businessman Arrested for Illegal Dumping in Hyderabad Lake | Hyderabad News


Bizman dumps debris in lake, booked

Hyderabad: Cyberabad police registered a case against businessman and Sandhya Convention owner S Sridhar Rao for allegedly dumping construction debris in a lake at Raidurgam. Sridhar Rao is already facing multiple cases in various police stations of Cyberabad, including a case of sodomising his gym trainer at Sanathnagar. All these cases are under investigation.
According to police, a team of HYDRAA noticed a vehicle dumping construction debris in Bhagirathamma Cheruvu at Khajaguda. A JCB was levelling the dumped debris. The team alerted irrigation department officials, who rushed to the spot and stopped the activity. Police said the JCB was owned by Dunnapotula Suresh, who works for Sandhya Constructions projects. The construction debris was dumped on the instructions of Sridhar Rao and his associates Venkateshwar Rao, Sunkara Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Murthy and Manikantha, police said.
Following a complaint from the irrigation officials, a case was registered against them under different sections of BNS and also Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act. An investigation was taken up, said Ch Venkanna, Raidurgam SHO.
Sridhar Rao is already facing multiple cases in Cyberabad, including a case of sodomising his gym trainer at Sanathnagar. All these cases are under investigation
