Vijayawada: AP Crime Investigation Department (CID) registered a case against actor Posani Krishna Murali following a complaint by Telugu Yuvatha state representative Bandaru Vamsi Krishna.
The case involves charges under Sections 111, 196, 353, 299, 336(3)(4), 341, and 61(2) of the BNS Act.
According to the complaint, Posani allegedly made derogatory remarks against CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu during a media interaction on Sept 28.
Vamsi Krishna claimed that Posani’s statements were intended to malign the CM and provoke discord among communities.
The complaint further alleged that Posani portrayed CM Naidu as anti-Hindu and said that this was an act purportedly executed as part of a pre-planned strategy to widely broadcast the statements across various media platforms.
