Luxury hospitality brand The Leela made a foray into Hyderabad with the opening of a 156-room hotel in Banjara Hills.
Set on 2.5 acres, the property blends business and leisure. Hyderabad’s positioning as a hub for innovation and culture aligns with mission to establish iconic destinations that blend India’s rich cultural heritage with modern luxury experiences, The Leela said in a release on Thursday.
“Hyderabad, with its rich cultural tapestry and position as a global innovation hub with the presence of GCCs and IT/ITES firms, is the perfect city for our presence and growth,” The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts CEO Anuraag Bhatnagar said. The Leela Hyderabad with over 930 sq m of event space, including a terrace courtyard, is an ideal venue for both corporate gatherings and social celebrations.
The property owner Pioneer Holiday and Resorts’ Managing Director Deepthi Reddy said the new hotel reimagines experiences and spaces for discerning guests and poised to be an in-city sanctuary. “For us, it is not just a hotel. This is a tribute to Deccan grandeur, a princely Hyderabad, and a reimagining of our neighbourhood,” she said.
