VISAKHAPATNAM: The judge of second additional district court CK Gayatri Devi on Friday sentenced a man to two years in prison for attacking his neighbours with a knife in April 2017.
Public prosecutor Kandregula Jagadeeswara Rao said inebriated R Sateesh, a native of Kailasapuram locality in Vizag abused his neighbour P Satyanarayana and his family and later Sateesh had inflicted injuries on his neighbours’s family.
Based on the complaint from the victim, the Kancharapalem police registered a case against the accused under sections 307 and 506 of IPC. The court convicted Sateesh and sentenced him to two years imprisonment.
