As December 1 is Sunday, NTR Bharosa pensions were distributed in SPSR Nellore district a day earlier on Saturday (November 30) morning from 7 a.m. during heavy rain.
Following directions of Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development P. Narayana and Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, several leaders and government staff participated in this programme.

In the heavy rain, 33 Division corporator Karanam Manjula Hazrat Naidu and other leaders of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) went door-to-door to distribute NTR Bharosa pensions from morning 6 a.m. TPD president of 33 Division Mettu Kranti, ward Incharge Katari Venkataramana, along with village secretariat staff participated in the pension distribution programme.
In Nellore City 16 Division, at Gurrala Madugu Sangam, JanaSena Party (JSP) leader Gunukula Vijayalakshmi along with the staff of the village secretariat, gave away social pensions to eligible beneficiaries from early morning even in the heavy rain. She also asked them whether they have been receiving free gas cylinders without facing any problem under Deepam 2.0 scheme.
Similarly in 30th Division, the pensions were distributed by ward Incharge Ashiq Ali Khan while it was raining heavily. Nellore District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) Project Director Nagaraja Kumari also actively participated in social pension distribution programme at Pottepalem village.
As per the information provided by the district officials, 82.72% of beneficiaries have received the pensions by 12 noon. Out of total 3,07,795 beneficiaries, around 2,54,670 persons have received their pensions in the district through biometric authentication by Saturday (November 30) afternoon.
