VIDEO: Fire Engulfs Truck Travelling from Mumbai, Near Hyderabad

Mumbai: A massive fire broke out in a truck travelling from Mumbai to Vijayawada on Sanga Reddy highway near Patancheru, located in the north western end of Hyderabad. Soon after the driver noticed the flames erupting from his vehicle, he immediately left the truck, making a narrow escape. The heavy vehicle was completely engulfed by the fire flames on the highway. No casualty has been reported so far, while the fire has also been doused. The cause of the fire is yet unknown.
A video of the incident is going viral, showing how the fire devoured the entire vehicle parked on the highway. The incident took place in the broad daylight with the cars passing on the highway, making it dangerous for others using the road. Meanwhile, officials were seen using heavy force to take control over the fire.
As heard in the video, a short circuit might be the reason behind the fire. Located in Medak district, Patancheru is the major industrial hub of Telangana.
