On Sunday, police discovered Kannada film and television actor Shobhitha Shivanna dead at her Gachibowli apartment.
Police responded to a call and discovered Shobhitha suspended from the ceiling within her apartment. Police transferred the body to Osmania Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Initial investigations indicate that it is a case of suicide, and the inquiry is still ongoing.
Shobhitha, originally from Sakleshpur in the Hassan district of Karnataka, acted in Kannada TV serials, got married to Sudheer, and has been residing in Hyderabad with her husband for the past two years.
