Hyderabad: According to GST figures released by the Centre for November 2024 on Sunday, Telangana earned 5,141 crore, up from 4,986 crore, marking a 3% growth compared to the GST collection in November 2023.
Despite this increase, Telangana, along with Andhra Pradesh, recorded the lowest GST collections among the southern states.
Maharashtra leads with 29,948 crore (17% of the total), followed by Karnataka with 13,722 crore (15%), Gujarat with 12,192 crore (12%), Tamil Nadu with 11,096 crore (8%), and Haryana 9,900 crore (2%).
Among larger states, Maharashtra and Karnataka recorded highest percentage growth, at 15% compared to November 2023. AP collected 3,699 crore, reflecting a 10% decline from 4,986 crore in November 2023.
