Telugu Desam Party, after scoring a thumping victory in the AP elections, is now eyeing to bring back the lost glory in Telangana. Already, Chandrababu Naidu ordered the local leaders to rebuild the cadre from the grassroots and work towards strengthening the party in the state.
Many popular Telangana leaders, who worked for TDP in the past, are now planning to get back to the party. One among them is former MLA and former Hyderabad Mayor, Teegala Krishna Reddy.

In October, Teegala met Chandrababu Naidu in Hyderabad and announced that he would be joining the party soon. According to the latest reports, he will join TDP on December 3. Reportedly, he will also be offered the position of Telangana TDP President by the high command.
Krishna Reddy has been a TDP member since its foundation. He served as Hyderabad Mayor when he was a TDP member. In 2014, he also won the Maheshwaram MLA seat, representing TDP. However, he later joined BRS.

Meanwhile, we also hear that Krishna Reddy’s relative and BRS MLA, Malla Reddy is also set to join TDP soon. Even Malla Reddy met Chandrababu Naidu a couple of months ago but he said that he met Naidu to invite him to his granddaughter’s wedding.
However, we hear that Malla Reddy will also join TDP soon, as it was his former party and he also has a close relationship with Chandrababu Naidu.

Once Krishna Reddy joins TDP, many other senior Telangana leaders are also expected to join TDP in the coming days, strengthening its workforce.
