Dhruva Spacethe Hyderabad-based start up, has announced the launch of ‘AstraView’ – a new commercial satellite imagery service designed to provide continuous insights into Earth on Monday (December 2, 2024).

AstraView provides high resolution, real time satellite imagery and data to support critical operations and help take informed decision making. It comes as a result from strategic partnerships with other industrial players like Array Labs, Axelspace, Capella Space, Geosat, Maxar, Planet, Satellogic, SI Imaging Services, Unseenlabs and Wyvern, said an official release.

Through these strategic partnerships, the start up offers a broad range of satellite data including electro-optical, synthetic aperture radar, radio frequency and hyper spectral imagery designed to meet the demands of the users like academia, defence and enterprise sectors. Through AstraView, customers can search or order archived imagery or request for fresh collection of satellite data so that they have access to both historical and real time geospatial information.

“The need of the hour is on-demand geospatial data as life on earth continues to evolve rapidly. Partnering with leading imagery companies bolsters our technological advantage,” said Dhruva Space CEO Sanjay Nekkanti. The commercial imagery service was launched at the 2024 addition of GeoSmart India conference organised by the Geospatial World here, the release added.
