A one-day workshop on ‘Innovation, Incubation, and Entrepreneurship’ was organised by the Research and Development (R&D) Cell of Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) on Monday.
Speaking as the chief guest, VSU vice-chancellor S. Vijay Bhaskara Rao, stressed that innovation platforms such as these offer opportunities to the youth to foster creativity and engage with new ideas. He encouraged students to generate innovative solutions for real-world problems, adding that incubation centres will help them turn their aspirations into reality.
The vice-chancellor stated that entrepreneurship can lead to regional development, providing young people with economic independence through new business opportunities. He also emphasised the significance of research.
During the workshop, Vamsi Krishna Rayal, CEO of RUSA Projects, Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) spoke about the importance of building a startup incubation ecosystem in educational institutions.
