Hyderabad: An argument over a trivial matter at a liquor outlet led to the murder of a man at Vinayak Nagar in Neredmet on Monday night.
The incident occurred when the victim B Ramu (37), a centering worker came to the pan shop beside the liquor outlet after consuming alcohol. At the same time, another person Srikanth also came to the pan shop and asked for pan in a commanding way.
According to the police, Ramu objected to Srikanth’s behaviour and asked him to talk softly without raising his voice. Angered by this, Srikanth picked up an argument with Ramu and gave him fist blows in the face and other parts on the body.
Ramu suffered grievous injuries and died on the spot. Neredmet police are investigating. Efforts are on to nab Srikanth, who is absconding.
