Skoda Auto India has revealed the full prices of its all-new Kylaq subcompact SUV. The petrol manual variants – Classic, Signature, Signature+, and Prestige – have been priced at Rs 7.89 lakh, Rs 9.59 lakh, Rs 11.40 lakh, and Rs 13.35 lakh, respectively. The petrol automatic engine-gearbox combination is being offered in three trims – Signature, Signature+, and Prestige – priced at Rs 10.59 lakh, Rs 12.40 lakh, and Rs 14.40 lakh, respectively. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom. Bookings for the Skoda Kylaq have commenced nationwide, and deliveries will begin on 27th January 2025.
Interestingly, the first 33,333 customers of the Kylaq will receive a special maintenance package that will reduce its running cost to Rs 0.24 per kilometre. The subcompact SUV model lineup comes in seven paint schemes – Carbon Steel, Tornado Red, Candy White, Brilliant Silver, Deep Black, Lava Blue, and Olive Gold. Skoda is offering a three-year/1,00,000km standard warranty (whichever comes first) with the subcompact SUV.
All variants of the Skoda Kylaq feature a 1.0L turbo petrol engine that’s claimed to accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 10.5 seconds. The motor delivers a peak power of 115bhp and 178Nm of torque. There are two gearboxes on offer – a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. With the top-end Prestige automatic variant, you get paddle shifters as well. The Prestige trim comes with some exclusive goodies, including leatherette upholstery, an auto-dimming IRVM, a wireless charger, an electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, 6-way electrically adjustable front seats, ambient lighting, 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, a rear wiper and washer, LED projector headlamps, and paddle shifters (only with the automatic variants).
The standard safety kit of the Skoda Kylaq includes six airbags, electronic stability control, a traction control system, brake disc wiping, a multi-collision brake, an electronic differential lock, rollover prevention, reverse parking sensors, a speed alert system, and a seatbelt reminder system.
