Probe into the irregularities of former CMO officials: BC Federation leader Jayaprakash
A federation representing backward classes is urging Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to investigate the alleged harassment of officials.

VIJAYAWADA: Expressing serious anguish at the continued humiliation of senior officials belonging to backward classes communities, BC sadhikara samakhya urged the chief minister Chandrababu Naidu to order a probe into the role of former chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s secretaries.
The federation president Pamarthi Jayaprakash alleged that retired IAS officer Dhanunjay Reddy, who served as secretary to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, continues to influence the senior officials in the present regime targeting the officials belonging to the SC, ST, BC and minorities.
He wondered as to how senior officials continue to take instructions from the leaders of the previous regime by ignoring the priorities of the NDA govt. Jayaprakash requested the chief minister to book all the officials attached with the CMO in the last five years for their irregularities and atrocities against the officials of weaker sections.
The federation is of the view that senior officials who did not succumb to the pressures of the previous regime were deliberately hunted and tarnished their attempts. The federation said that the torture of honest and dedicated officials is being continued due to the outside pressure of the former CMO officials. “We requested the chief minister Chandrababu Naidu to take the issue with a serious note as many senior officials in the present regime are taking instructions from the YSRCP leaders to harass the honest officials,” said Jayaprakash.
He said that recently Vizianagaram joint collector GC Kishore Kumar, who hails from BC community, was framed in a false case following the pressures from the local YSRCP leaders even after the regime change. He said that Kishore was an upright officer who did not blindly follow the instructions from the former CMO. He said that the officials like Gandham Chandrudu, Vivek Yadav and Kishore Kumar fearlessly worked and refused to toe the line of YSRCP leaders. “The former CMO official is deliberately tarnishing the reputation of honest officials and pushing them to commit suicide,” said Jayaprakash.
He demanded that the govt should immediately reinstate Vizinagaram joint collector GC Kishore Kumar. He wondered as to how the branded YSRCP officials got prime posts under the NDA regime.
