‘The Tabernacles’, a leading Gospel singing group in the Twin Cities, will present its 57th Annual Christmas Concert at at St. Francis College for Women, Begumpet, Hyderabad, at 6.45 p.m. on December 7. Entry is free.
The Tabernacles, conducted by renowned choir director and musician Mr. Zubin Gibson, will present both traditional Western and Classical Christmas Carols with a fifty-member voice choir singing in parts consisting of Saprono, Alto, Tenor and bass. They will be accompanied with a fifty-member orchestra.
The choir members, men and women drawn from various churches representing Protestant, Catholic and independent churches, will sing carols to herald the advent season.
D. Joel Davis, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Cyberabad, will be the chief guest on the occasion.
This year, there will be a special rendition by the ‘Little Rocks Band’, and the classical rendition of carols from Handel, Beethovan, Hayden and Mozart, etc., is set to delight the audience.
‘The Tabernacles’, a nonprofit, has been rendering Christmas concert every year for around half a century.
