Baahubali, one of the most iconic films in Tollywood, paved the way for Indian cinema to dream bigger and connect with audiences worldwide. However, the film’s producer, Shobu Yarlagadda, recently made headlines for an alarming reason unrelated to cinema.
Shobu revealed on social media that his WhatsApp account had been hacked. He shared his frustration, explaining that the hacker had gained complete control of his account and was using it to defraud his contacts. He also expressed concern that WhatsApp’s policies prevented him from logging back into his account for 12 hours, as the system detected multiple incorrect PIN entries. Meanwhile, the hacker continued to exploit his contacts, compromising additional accounts in the process.
Shobu further criticised WhatsApp and its parent company, Meta, for their lack of accessible support to address such urgent issues, calling the situation “crazy” and urging them to take action.
As of now, he has not shared any updates on resolving the issue. Stay tuned for further developments.
