Four farm labourers lost their lives in auto-bus collision in Mothe Mandal Centre, Suryapet, Telangana on February 28, 2024.

Five farm labourers including three women lost their lives in a tragic accident involving an auto and an RTC bus in Mothe Mandal Centre in Suryapet, Telangana on Wednesday. Besides, seven others including the autorickshaw driver sustained injuries following the collision.
While Kandula Nagamma (65), Chevula Narayanamma (56), and Pokala Anasurya (65) from Munagala mandal, two more persons, Reminam Soubhagyamma (75) and Kandula Guravaiah (70), the husband of Nagaamma, succumbed to injuries at a hospital. The victims were on their way to Burkacharla village for chili-picking in the fields when the accident occurred. It is said that an the RTC was had hit the autorickshaw, when both the vehicles were passing through an underpass in the opposite diretecion. All injured individuals had been rushed to Suryapet Government Area Hospital for treatment. Local police authorities have launched an investigation into the incident by a registering a case.
