The car which got damaged in the road accident on ORR at Keesara.
Hyderabad: Two persons were injured after the car in which they were travelling in went out of control and crashed into a truck on the Outer Ring Road in Keesara on Friday. A rash and negligent driving is suspected to have led to the mishap.
The incident occurred when the car was heading towards Keesara from ECIL. According to the police, when they reached the ORR, the driver was suspected to have lost control of the steering in an attempt to overtake the truck ahead and rammed into it from behind, resulting in injuries to them. Soon after the incident, they were shifted to the hospital.
On receiving information, the Keesara police reached the spot and towed the vehicle away to the police station. The vehicle was badly damaged in the incident. The incident led to traffic congestion on the route which is usually busy with vehicles. The traffic was, however, cleared within an hour.
A case was booked and police are yet to identify persons who were traveling in the car at the time of mishap.
