Hyderabad: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) on Friday announced an opening for the post of chief information officer (CIO) to spearhead its information and communication technology (ICT) initiatives.
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in any field, with computer science as a subject at the diploma or graduation level. Additional qualifications in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and machine learning from recognised national or international institutions are preferred.
The board emphasised the need for seasoned professionals with at least 10 years of experience in ICT, particularly in state government departments, and expertise in implementing ICT solutions for government initiatives. Demonstrable success in project leadership and ICT policy formation will be key evaluation criteria.
