Five people died after the car they were travelling in lost control and plunged into a lake in Telangana’s Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district.
The police that the six people in the car were residents of Hyderabad’s L B Nagar area and were travelling to Pochampalli when the accident happened at 5.30 am. One person managed to escape and is undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
An official from Pochampalli police station said that it could either be a case of overspeeding or driving under intoxication.
