Mahabubnagar: Mild tremors were felt in Dasarapalle under Koukuntla mandal in the district on Saturday afternoon. Residents in the village felt the tremors at around 12.15 pm. NGRI officials said the impact on the Richter Scale was 3.
According to reports, the tremors were felt in the River Krishna catchment area, including upstream and downstream of Jurala project.
This is the second such incident being reported in the week in the State. On Wednesday, a magnitude of 5.3 earthquake centred in Mulugu had occurred and tremors were felt in a few places of erstwhile Warangal, Khammam, Adilabad, Sangareddy and parts of Hyderabad.
