Hyderabad: SuryaCon Hyderabad 2024, the city’s premier solar expo, award ceremony, and conference, was organized by EQ Magazine in the city showcasing advancements in decarbonization, carbon neutrality, and sustainability.
C. Narasimhan, former MP and President of the Indian Solar Association, and S.B. Yadagiri, Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, Hyderabad, alongside other industry leaders participated in the event. Key discussions revolved around the pressing topics of solar energy development and government initiatives designed to support the sector, a press release said.
The highlights of the event were the awards recognizing excellence in the solar industry. Sova Solar earned accolades as a leader in Indian solar module manufacturing, while Solis was awarded the title of the top inverter brand in the country.
Other winners included ECE (India) Energies Private Limited, SMA Solar, Gautam Solar, and Novasys while C. Narasimhan received the Leadership Excellence Award for his significant contributions to renewable energy.
