Hyderabad: Three persons who are followers of BRS MLA Maganti Gopinath were arrested by Borabanda police for allegedly abetting suicide.
Police said that the three accused, C Prashant Kumar, Devara Raja, and Sai Charan, knew about a property dispute in the victim’s family and offered to solve it in the past.
The accused, under pretext of solving the dispute, transferred the property in the name of one Ram Singh and Sudhakar by executing a sale deed. They promised the victim to return the possession of the property by clearing the pending issues after ‘managing’ the revenue department. The accused allegedly deceived the victim and harassed him by breaching his trust.
The victim committed suicide a few days ago and allegedly took a selfie video blaming the accused. Based on this, the accused were arrested by police. The officials also appealed to the public to approach the police if they were also harassed by the accused. The accused were sent to judicial remand.
