Chandrababu Naidu to Unveil Vision Document at District Collectors’ Conference | Vijayawada News


Naidu to release vision document at district collectors’ conference

Vijayawada: Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu will release the vision document of the state and districts at the district collectors’ conference to be held in the Secretariat on Dec 11 and 12. All the ministers have been asked to attend the session for key discussions. This is the second district collectors conference after Chandrababu Naidu-led NDA govt came to power about five months ago.
While chief commissioner land administration (CCLA) G Jayalakshmi will initiate the conference, chief secretary Neerabh Kumar Prasad, revenue minister A Satya Prasad and finance minister P Keshave will address the gathering before handing over the baton to chief minister Chandrababu Naidu for a thorough review. Planning principal secretary Peeyush Kumar will give a detailed presentation of Swarnanandhra vision document.
Subsequently, a discussion on RTGS, public grievances redressal system, grama/ward secretariat system, whatsapp governance, positive public perception will be taken up. In the afternoon session, agriculture special CS B Rajasekhar, horticulture secretary MM Naik, civil supplies commissioner Veerapandian, water sources special CS G Sai Prasad, PR and RWS principal secretary Sashibhushan Kumar and municipal administration secretary Kannababu will make presentation on their departmental issues on which the district collectors would share their feedback.
DGP Dwaraka Tiruamala Rao will make presentation on law and order in the post-tea break session which will be taken up for detailed discussion.
Industries secretary N Yuvaraj, I&I secretary S Suresh Kumar, energy special CS K Vijayanand, HRD secretary Kona Sasidhar, R&B principal secretary Kantilal Dande will give presentations on the second day first session. There will be discussion on health and housing after presentations by special CS Krishna Babu and Ajay Jain in the afternoon session. Welfare secretaries Kannababu (social welfare), Bhaskar (BC welfare), Harshavardhan (minority) and Surya Kumari (woman and child) would also present their views on their respective wings.
Interestingly, a detailed discussion on revenue (lands) and stamps and registration has been scheduled as last subject on the second day as the chief minister wanted to go deep into the issue. Excise and mining principal secretary MK Meena will make a presentation on the subjects before concluding the two-day long session.
