Hyderabad: An alleged family feud in a popular Tollywood actor’s family led to his son making a distress call to Rachakonda police. However, until the last reports were received, no formal complaint was received by the police.
On Sunday, the police control room, upon receiving a distress call, alerted the concerned Pahadishareef police. When police rushed to the spot, they found that it was the farmhouse of a veteran Tollywood actor. The caller turned out to be his son, who is also a Tollywood actor.
Police found that it was a case of family dispute, where the caller claimed that he was physically assaulted. “We asked the caller to give a written complaint so that we could register an FIR. But he did not turn up at the police station,” Pahadishareef police said.
For most of Sunday, there was a buzz that the young actor would come to Pahadishareef police station to lodge a complaint against the concerned family member who was allegedly responsible for the attack on him. The actor was physically attacked by an employee of the veteran actor.
However, none of the family members, including the young actor, spoke out about the controversy. Late on Sunday afternoon, the young actor turned up at a hospital in Banjara Hills allegedly with an injury to his leg. He left the hospital few hours later.
