Youth Rally Against Corruption in Hyderabad: A March for Change | Hyderabad News

Hyderabad: A walk was held on Monday at KBR Park to raise awareness regarding corruption. The walk was organised by Youth for Anti-Corruption (YAC), an NGO dedicated to combating graft for over 14 years in commemoration of International Anti-Corruption Day. The walk aimed to inspire youth and the public to challenge corruption and advocate for transparency in society.
It was inaugurated by former additional chief secretary Ajay Mishra, former MLA Bakkani Narsimhulu, and YAC founder Rajendra Palnati.
Speaking at the event, Ajay Mishra underscored the need for greater awareness among the youth and public about their rights and the laws governing society.
“Eradicating corruption is essential to ensure a joyful and challenge-free life for every individual,” he said. “Young people must develop a habit of questioning the status quo to drive meaningful change.”
Bakkani Narsimhulu echoed similar sentiments, emphasising the transformative power of grassroots initiatives. “Every great change begins with small steps. Movements like these ignite the spirit of reform among youth and the larger community,” he said.
The event saw participation of NCC and NSS students.
