On the occasion of International Human Rights Day (December 10), Andhra University’s Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College of Law organised Human Rights Day celebrations in the seminar hall. Quiz competition was conducted for the law students on the occasion. Geetha Bhargavi, student of the college, who was selected as Junior Civil Judge, took part in the event. Prof. K. Sita Manikyam, Principal of the college, spoke about Human Rights Day, which is observed by the international community, and said it commemorates the day in 1948 the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
