The drone show began moments after Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy concluded his public address at the unveiling of the Telangana Talli statue. Smartphone-wielding spectators captured the mesmerising display as it unfolded.
The drone show opened with a clear portrayal of a farmer, symbolising Telangana’s agricultural community, which has benefitted from the government’s ₹500-per-quintal bonus for paddy and waived crop loans. Next, drones formed the shape of a TGSRTC bus, representing the Mahalakshmi Scheme that offers free bus service for women.
Other visuals created using the drones included a glowing light bulb, illustrating the provision of 200 units of free electricity, and the iconic figure of Indira Gandhi, symbolising the Indira Mahila Shakti Scheme. A notable highlight was the display of the government’s expanded Rajiv Aarogyasri health coverage, increased from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh.

The show also celebrated Hyderabad’s cultural and economic achievements, with the Charminar and tall buildings representing the city’s heritage and IT boom. Finally, the drones culminated in a striking portrait of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, drawing loud cheers and claps from the crowd.
Following the drone performance, the evening transitioned into a spectacular fireworks display, painting the sky with vibrant colours. Crowds positioned themselves at prime locations along PVNR Marg and Tank Bund Road, with some even securing vantage points like the rooftop of Neera Cafe.

“We had a reverse view of the drone show, but it was peaceful, and we were at a height, which gave us a great view,” said Shanti, who attended the event with her two children.
