Vikarabad: In yet another alarming case of food poisoning in Telangana, 15 girl students from a tribal girls’ hostel in Vikarabad, which is approximately 72.6 kms away from Hyderabad, were admitted to the Tandur District Hospital after experiencing severe nausea and vomiting. The incident occurred after the students consumed dinner on Monday evening.
The students, all residents of the tribal girls’ hostel, began complaining of symptoms such as vomiting and nausea shortly after their meal. Concerned hostel staff immediately rushed the affected girls to the hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.
Doctors at the Tandur District Hospital have confirmed that all the students are in stable condition and are responding well to treatment. The cause of the food poisoning is yet to be determined, but officials are investigating the quality of the food served at the hostel.
The friends filed a complaint with the food safety authorities, blaming Aroma Restaurant and the food delivery app. They claimed the food they received was of poor quality and caused their illness. The victims told officials that they had ordered the meal through an online app from Aroma Restaurant on November 20.
