A man found wandering in Chatrinaka with a sword in a cardboard box was nabbed by the South Zone Task Force team and Chatrinaka police of Hyderabad.
The man, identified as G. Ajay Kumar, 30, a resident of Chatrinaka, and a cashier by profession, purchased the sword online three months ago for ₹1,600.
“He reportedly used the sword for cutting cakes at birthday celebrations, and posted photos of himself with the weapon on his Facebook account,” said the police.
The sword and the cell phone used to upload the photos online were seized at the time of arrest on Monday.
