As per reports coming in from media, criminal charges have been booked against Perni Nani, who was a former minister of Cinematography of Andhra Pradesh. Reportedly, he was booked under illegal transportation of Rice from Godowns in Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.
As per the media reports, a ration deal of worth Rs 90 lakh was missing from the Godowns and former minister Prena Nani and his supporters are supposed to answer the questions raised by officials. If they are not able to answer the questions, criminal charges will be filed against them, said the food and safety officer and also a fine of Rs 1.8 crore will be imposed on the team, said Mr. Jelani. Reports also coming in that the Godowns will be kept under black list from the time being until the enquiry is under the process.

Getting into details, back than during the tenure of YSCP rule in Krishna district alone the Godowns worth of 3,200 bags of rice was supplied. As per the written note by Prena Nani in November to the district collector the rice bags were in return supplied to the necessary families but not satisfied with the explanation by the former minister, the collector has ordered for a enquiry on the Godowns across the district and criminal charges are being imposed against Perni Nani and a temporary seize on the Godowns until the enquiry in under the process, say the reports. .
